Admissions
The admission procedure begins with registration. On payment of this fee, school office will issue a receipt, prospectus along with registration form to be filled by the parents.

ADMISSION TEST
Admission test will be held on the date given by the office at time of registration. GCS strictly follows the merit system. List of selected candidates will be displayed on given date and no correspondence and approach will be entertained in this connection. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for an interview before the academic board.
SCHOOL FEE
Parent of successful candidate will be asked to collect the first fee challan form from the office. School fee shall be paid every two months in advance through a local bank. Fee is payable for all twelve calendar months. School has discretion to review and increase the fee.
WITHDRAWALS
If parents wish to withdrawl their child from the school, an application must be given to the school one month in advance. A student shall be considered automatically withdrawl from the school if,
a) He/She has not attended the school for one month without submitting any leave application.
b) His/Her dues have remained unpaid for one month.
c) He/She has been asked to withdraw from school due to disciplinary reasons, School shall not be required to give any notice before enforcing its decision, Such actions are absolutely at the discretion of school management.
d) He / She failed in the same class for two consecutive years or has failed to qualify for promotion on two different occasions during school career.
Please Note:
School sends out a circular to update parental addresses once a year, it is the responsibility of the parents to immediately notify any change of address/telephone number(s) to teh school office
GENERAL INFORMATION
The School years divided into two terms, exact dates for the beginning and ending of term vary from year to year and parents are informed accordingly. Our school has a 5 days working week, Monday to Friday with 2 days weekend and gazetted holidays, the school has two major breaks during the year, i.e., summer and winter breaks.

SCHOOL UNIFORM
List of suppliers will be provided at time of admission. Details of school uniform are available in the school.
ID CARD
Once the student is on roll, ID card will be issued from the main office. The person responsible for pick and drop of the student has to show ID card at home time. This practice is for the security of the child and school expects cooperation from parents’ end.
PICK AND DROP FACILITY
Pick and drop facility may be provided to the students on the request of the parents. School will not be responsible for any accident or mishap.
NEWSLETTERS & MAGAZINES
School produces regular Newsletter with an objective of keeping parents informed about current activities and forthcoming events. School Magazine is produced by the school on annual basis. It helps our students to become familiar with various aspects of publishing, whether as writers or editors. Magazines have both Urdu and English sections and students of all levels are encouraged to contribute in it.
VISITORS
GCS students community warmly welcomes visits by wide variety of people. Sport personalities, national heroes, authors, doctors and educationists etc. are all among the people who visit our school to share information with students. Meetings such people opens the minds of students to the world around and gives confidence to communicate and share ideas.
HEALTH CARE SERVICES
A health care service has been introduced in our school to maintain health profile of students, evaluate their health status and assist parents in planning proper health care for their children. School has very basic first aid facilities. In emergency, child is rushed to the nearest hospital and every effort is made to immediately inform the parents/guardian.
RULES
Respect for time is important, therefore students are expected to be punctual. Once the school is over, ensure that your child is picked up on time else school will not be responsible for any untoward incident. The traffic rules need to be followed to avoid congestions in front of school gates.
High heel shoes, make-up, jewellery items, cell phones, electronics and toys are not allowed in the school. Parents are notified promptly regarding changes in different issues through office circulars.
